No. Our Prototype PCBs, Standard PCBs or Advanced PCBs use the same premier manufacturing processes as our production circuit boards.

Ordering

Is there any limit on minimum order quantity for bare PCB order or PCBA turkey order?

No, we don’t have limit on MOQ both for bare PCB boards and PCB Assembly.

How can I get a quotation

There are three ways to get quote.

1. Send your zipped PCB design file, substrate, quantity, and lead time requirements and BOM (if quote for PCBA) to sales@pcbshintech.com, and we'll back to you soon.

2. And you can chat with us on Messenger on right side of every page of this website; or APP of Wechat, Skype and WhatsApp as ID: 8613430714229.

Do you offer free samples?

We do not offer free PCBs. If you want to verify our quality prior to volume production, it's optimal to submit a prototype order. Once you've verified our quality, it's easy to repeat the order at any quantity you need.

Under which circumstances will you charge additional costs?

If your board production requires special / advanced technique, additional costs will occur. Those advanced technique include: Laser drill, back drill, countersunk, counter bore, edges plated, skip V-scoring, half-cutted via, vias filled with epoxy, via in pad / vias filled with copper, requirement for 100% failure free in panel, special press-fit connectors, multi-type surface finish, multi-color silkscreen or solder mask, surface finish (eg. ENIG) area in the boards exceed standard (15 %), gold thickness exceeds standard of 1-3 micro inches, over-sized board (width size / length size 600mm or more than 600 mm), ultra small board (width size and length size are both less than 25 mm), special packing requirements, etc.

Do you have any cancellation fees?

A prorated cancellation fee will be charged for cancelled orders depending on fabrication status at the time of cancellation. Bare boards orders are subject to 100% cancellation fee. Please contact your Salesperson immediately and follow up with e-mail to confirm and provide written record for any verbal cancellation.

Can I verify the production data before PCB ShinTech starts manufacturing?

Not sure about your artwork or how our engineers will interpret it? Sometimes your data files may contain features that our automated PCB process cannot recognise. Or you may be worried that your first layout is not quite right. Whatever your concern, we can give you the reassurance you need. An approval step for the production-ready data for your board will be set-up just before it goes into physical manufacture. As soon as our engineers have completed their checks, we will send you an e-mail to advise you that the production files are ready and waiting for your approval.

When do I pay a tooling NRE fee for my printed circuit board?

You will only pay a Tooling Charge if your order of bare boards less than 5 m2.

If I only have a minor change in my design, do you charge Tooling NRE?

When we make any change to your printed circuit board, we assign it completely new tooling. This helps prevent old artwork or cnc programming from being used. Even a minor change will require the same process as new files, so a tooling charge may apply. Please contact your salesperson for details.

What is Test NRE?

The Test NRE is a one-time "non recurring expense" for electrical test. This charge is optional but when paid, all circuit boards will be tested each and every time that part number and revision is ordered without additional charge.

File Rquirement

What files do you need to manufacture my printed circuit board?

A: We require Gerber files RS-274X with an aperture list, an Excellon drill file, and a drill tool list (may be included in Excellon drill file).

What PCB file generating software would you recommend?

A: There is no specific requirements on PCB design software. We can precisely manufacture your boards as long as you provide us with PCB design files in Gerber RS-274X format.

What CAM software do you use?

A: We use Frontline's Genesis software for editing and viewing.

What files do you need to Assembly my circuit boards?

"PCB Design File  ( All Gerbers will be best,at least including copper layer(s), solder paste layers, and silkscreen layers), Pick and Place (Centroid), and BOM.

What is BOM? What info do you need to purchase my components?

A: "BOM, short for bill of materials, is a comprehensive list of raw materials, items, assemblies and sub-assemblies, components etc. for product manufacturing. We require Manufacturer Part Number, Designator, Quantity and Description of components to quote for the assembly price.
